Providing parishioners the amenities of total Christian living, University Park Baptist Church, is a dynamic place of worship that takes glorifying God beyond Sunday to everyday. The Park Ministries, under the leadership of Pastor Claude R. Alexander, Jr. since 1990, is continuously providing innovative ways to develop disciples for Christ and uplift the community.

With more than 100 acres of land spread over three localities, The Park Ministries is bustling with work for Christ.  At the 54-acre Main Campus in Charlotte, North Charlotte at 6029 Beatties Ford Road, three Sunday morning worship services are held: 7:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11:30 a.m.  Sunday morning youth worship services are also held at 11:30 a.m. in the Family Life and Wellness Center.  Being not only a preaching church but also a teaching church, course-structured Sunday School classes are held at various times on Sundays and on Wednesday evenings, Bible Study begins at 6:30 p.m.  To minister globally, all services and the Thursday Evening Bible Study are webcast live on http://www.theparkministries.org/

In addition to traditional services, The Park offers many amenities for congregation and non-members, as well.  The Main Campus houses a Family Life and Wellness Center for organized recreational events and professional catering for banquets and receptions.  Although the church builds and upholds spiritual health, it also encourages physical health by providing a weight room and an aerobics room with scheduled fitness classes.  There is also a Recording Studio "Studio P", a television production room; a bookstore where all of Pastor Alexander’s messages along with other Christian aides can be purchased. The church has a Prayer Room, counseling services for both members and non-members, a children’s nursery, a Mother’s Morning Out and a Kingdom Kids After School program. We also offer a Summer Day Camp.
